Advantage Receiver (Giants Causeway x Miss Kournikova) 2005
Offered for unreserved sale is the beautifully bred and kind natured 16hh broodmare Advantage Receiver by GIANTS CAUSEWAY out of the Stakes winner Miss Kournikova.
Bred by Arrowfield, Advantage Receiver (aka Anna) was a $150,000 yearling purchase by Dynamic Syndications at the Inglis 2007 Easter Yearling Sales, a good indication of this mare's type and pedigree.
Out of G1 Oakleight Plate winner, Miss Kournikova, Advantage Receiver is a half sister to Oakleigh Girl and Anna's Choice. The dam of 2 winners, Security Code and Najmaat, this mare has a Your Song Colt (called Your Serve, in training with Sam Kavanagh) and a Foxwedge colt to run for her. Daughter Najmaat, sold in foal to Too Darn Hot (Service Fee $44,000) at the 2021 Magic Millions Gold Coast National Broodmare sale for $260,000.
Anna was purchased after the commencement of the breeding season last year specifically to be covered by the exciting first season stallion, Russian Camelot, (such is the opinion of her bloodlines to send her for a quality mating). Unfortunately the mare failed to get in foal in what was a relatively late cover anyway. With a change in breeding strategy for the coming season, Anna is for sale offering the potential to return huge dividends to the sucessful buyer.
Anna has a beautiful nature, is a good eater, very quiet, well behaved for my wife who trims her feet etc, is easy to drench, great for the vet for all reproductive services and is easy to float, loading and travelling without problem.
